We always hear heart-warming tales of couples who have gotten back together after splitting up and we tend to hear a lot of these tales. Some guys waste their time waiting for an ex to return. But how many of these couples stay together in the long run?
It amazes me that so many people will search for stories of couples who reunite. These searches are almost universally done after you get your heart shattered into pieces but fixating on these stories can be dangerous.
Just like all those stories of people who win the lotto, you will only hear about the lucky few and not about the countless millions that play the lotto on a daily basis who don’t win anything.
If you look very closely at these stories of reconciliation, only 17% of them will detail what occurred after the initial phase of getting back together and it doesn’t end well in most cases. Nobody knows what happened to the rest of these stories as there is never a conclusion given but it is highly likely that they breakup again shortly after reconciling.
It usually doesn’t work out because the original reason for the breakup is usually the same reason ye will break up again. It is only a very tiny minority of cases where this is either overlooked or significant work is done by both people to ensure that this issue (or issues) are dealt with properly.
It’s actually far easier to attract a new woman and have her stay in your life than it is to rekindle things with an ex. Do yourself a big favour and move on. If she left you, then happily let her go because the next one will be far better in every way.
