Most people are far too busy with their hectic lives to make time for decluttering.  Usually, we either learn to live with the mess or just throw everything into one room or compact it into a single wardrobe. It is very important to declutter your home because your subconscious mind is always thinking about the mess and unfinished projects.
how_to_easily_declutter_your_home-main Not only will decluttering your home give you great peace of mind but it will also make you far more productive in the long run.  Don’t think that the tips I give you here will result in a quick fix solution.  It will still require an enormous amount of work from you and will most likely take anywhere from several days to several weeks to complete the entire house.  Tackle one room at a time, let’s say… the kitchen.  Before you begin let’s get some large empty boxes and mark them:
  • Keep
  • Giveaway
  • Throw away
  • Sell
Most people are far too busy with their hectic lives to make time for decluttering. Click To Tweet Now take every last item out of every cupboard, drawer or from every surface and pile them up on the kitchen table.  Before you put things back you might want to clean everywhere.  Take a look at each item and decide which box it belongs to.  It should take you no more than 3 seconds to decide where something belongs.  To make things a bit easier you can tackle large collections of similar items, such as papers and packaging that belongs in the bin and pile these into the throw away box. Once each box is full you can empty them as needed.  For the items that you will give away, you could pile these by the front door or load them into the car, ready to go.  As soon as the car is full or the job is complete bring them to the charity shop, or wherever you intend on bringing them, as soon as you can. Items that you want to keep, but do not belong in the kitchen, should be put in the keep box and brought to the room they belong to as soon as the job is done. Continue the same process until every room is spotless and completely decluttered.
